Mobility scooters share similar systems to eBikes. These systems include a motor, controller & battery. We have years of experience servicing eBikes of all shapes and sizes, it only makes sense to expand our service to include mobility scooters.
Recently, we serviced an EWheels EW-10 electric mobility scooter. This scooter has (4) 12V Sealed Lead Acid Batteries wired in series to make a 48V system. The existing batteries had reached end-of-life and the scooter was inoperable. We guided the customer to order the proper specified batteries. Once the batteries arrived, the customer scheduled a 2-hour service for the battery swap.
This battery swap service was successful and the customers were thrilled to have a fully functional scooter once again. They were also very thankful for the convenience of onsite service. Another local service provider was going to pick up the scooter on a trailer and take it back to their shop; they never came through. Regardless, Radius Onsite eliminates many inefficiencies of traditional service.
